Papiers à la Mode

This collection of paper dresses telling the history of 300 years of fashion was exhibited at the FAAP (Fundaçao Armando Alvares Penteado – Museu de Arte Brasileira). The Foundation is a university providing courses for students as well as participate in and organise temporary exhibitions. On this occasion they met Isabelle de Borchgrave and her team and attended several courses organised and given by the artist. The exhibition Papiers à la Mode in the FAAP was a huge success and attracted some 30,000 visitors. The art critics of Sao Paulo voted the exhibition the most beautiful international exhibition of 2008. Carta Moda proposes to arrange for this collection to travel throughout Brazil.
